Mark rescued Sophie from an animal shelter that was going to euthanize her because she had heartworms. After about 6 months she was completely heartworm free after treatment and 5 years later is still doing great. Mark had her genetically tested. On one side she is pure Shih Tzu which explains the small ears. On the other she is Basset Hound and Shetland Sheep dog. She gets her body from the Basset and her energy level from the Sheep dog. Sophie is very lovable and is the best buddy a guy could ask for.

Boomer, 3 years old & Beatrice, 2 years old are Basset Hounds.
They are active girls that love walks, parks, and shopping for cow ears and squeaky toys.

Beatrice loves Best 4K9 because they have delicious Dr Marty's food and a wonderful variety of chews. She loves to take a cheek roll or ear out back and bury it thinking she will get another one.

Boone is a 4 1/2 year old male boxer brought by Santa himself. He has a preoccupation, some may say an obsession, with chasing squirrels (he hasn't caught one yet), but that does not stop him from trying. He is an outstanding protector of his feline harem, and if he were a person, he'd be the Mayor...everybody knows Boone.

Carly is a 9 year old female tabby. She got her name as she was a stray found at "Carlson" farm and would have been named Carl if she were a boy. Nonetheless, this brave and bold girl takes no crap from the younger sibs, and though she prefers her quiet time alone, she is getting more affectionate in her senior years.

Goose is a 1 1/2 year old female tabby, and like all modern-day love stories, they met online. Typical of the youngest child, she is extremely social and too confident for her own good. She has lost no less than a dozen collars since Courtney has had her, maybe due in part to her nightlife

Trixie is a 2 1/2 year old female long-haired love bug from the ASPCA rescue organization. She's the "Slayer" of all upholstered furniture, and the source of all household tumbleweeds and dust bunnies. But she makes up for her shortcomings with being the best sundown lap cat.

Poppy is a 5 year old border collie poodle mix and Hank is a 1 year old Australian labradoodle. Even though Hank outweighs his older sis, don't let that fool you...Poppy rules the roost. These two play together all day long and are usually inseparable. Poppy often willingly convinces Hank to counter surf yummy snacks for them to share. Hank’s favorite pastime is chasing squirrels and Poppy cannot deny her strong border collie DNA, so she spends most of her time outside patrolling the perimeter of the house and attempting to herd anything that walks. Meredith and her family were looking for a breed that would fit their family. They came across a breeder of Brauque Francais at a farm in Alabama. The Braque Francais is  hunting dog, from a very old type of gun dogs used for pointing the location of game birds. She knew they were obedient, socialable and athletic, making Max Power the perfect pup for them! He came home on Oct 5th 2015 on her son's 7th birthday, and has been a wonderul companion and a joy to own ever since!

Thor came into Christine's life in April 2020.
